COVID-19 POLICY

Please visit the Queensland Health page for up to date information.

  • Stay home if unwell.

  • Maintain current safe distancing requirements.

  • Wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitiser upon arrival.

  • ALL persons must record full name, date/time of arrival/exit in the sign-in book. 

  • One person per platform if possible.

  • Wipe down your equipment and chair before and after use with the sanitiser spray provided. Please ensure not to spray directly onto the bars - use the cloths.​

  • You may bring your own chalk and container if preferred (See staff to purchase).

  • You are encouraged to download the COVID Safe app and use the QR codes found around the gym. 


Hand sanitiser and cleaning products are provided by the club.

Formal COVID-19 policy is ever-evolving. Please be aware there may be changes.

Thank you for your support and cooperation in keeping our members safe and healthy.

OTHER GYM HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Bring your own clean towel to each session.

  • Bring enough water for your training session. There is cold water found in the fridge, please refill jug once used.

  • Toilets and showers found in locker room next door. Please ensure you lock the door before leaving.

  • Dispose of all rubbish in the plastic bin provided. Please no food scraps in the inside bins.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED ENTRY?

Children training as members supervised are allowed (and encouraged!), However we cannot allow smaller children playing on or around the equipment- it is not safe.

 

COMMITTEE

NBWA is a Not-For-Profit organisation. Our Committee is run by our members and coaches who live and breathe weightlifting.
